Hidden Tang Scandi-style Knife

Here is a product of the normal tools used in my shop.Custom hand-made Hidden-tang Scandinavian-style bushcraft knife, blade blank, and wood-lined sheath
Made from sawblade and canvas micarta, this hidden tang is lighter-weight than the full-tang primitive model shown in a previous post. The blade blank is included in the photo so you can see what is inside the handle. Notice the smooth sweep from blade to tang. Also, the pins are all flared on both ends, forming rivets, so there is basically no chance that the handle would ever come unglued and let a pin fall out. The pin in the center of the handle goes through the tang, to prevent the blade from slipping out, if the glue ever fails for some reason (such as extremes in temperature and difference in expansion and contraction of dissimilar materials).
Birch wood lined Scandinavian-style sheath

Specs on this one-of-a-kind knife: Weight: 2.8 oz./sheath, 2.1 oz.; OAL: 7 3/8″; Blade length: 3 1/2″.  SOLD!
