How to be Free

Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ set us free. Stand firm and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery.”

Then said Jesus to those who believed on Him,
“If you continue in My word, then you are My disciples indeed;
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  (John 14:6)
They answered Him, “We are Americans, and were never enslaved to anyone. How do You say that we shall be made free?”
Jesus answered them, “Verily, verily I say unto you: Anyone who commits sin is the slave and prisoner of sin, bound with the cords of his sin. (Proverbs 5:22) The slave, the prisoner, can be abandoned or destroyed at any time (Isaiah 51:14), but the Son remains forever. He has all power and authority to free the slaves and prisoners. (Luke 4:18, Matthew 28:18) So, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:31-36, adapted.
“Sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins;
and in Him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not.” 1 John 3:4-6.
“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22.
“Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.” 1 John 3:7.
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:25.
“And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name YAHWEH THE SAVIOR, for He shall save His people from their sins.” Matthew. 1:21.

“This know, that in the last days, [many shall be found] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”  2 Timothy 3:1, 5.

“Behold, the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”  John 1:29.

“For the law of life in Jesus Christ hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”  Romans 8:2.
